Sixth, a lot of people really do love this school. I’ve never been invested in the idea of school spirit, but having a Jackie Robinson Jackie 42 shirt from Maryland helps later in life when you are talking to potential clients or employers that went to the school. UMCP has a long list of alumni and if you have to pretend that you broke down crying at the age of 8 when Glen Bias died then that is a small price to pay for finding a common connection with others.
