Then how that would stop them from fleeing? If they did not want to fight, could they just drive the tank away from the battle field? Would it be easier and safer to get away in a tank than on foot, tank is a lot faster than running and crew was well protected inside the tank ? All the tankers were trained to carry out minor repairs, for example: to replace the damaged track. So you wanted to chain them inside the tank, right? Then who would repair the tank track ? just sit inside the tank and call roadside assistance?
